Line 1 - Au chef Anglois a Nimes trop sejour
It is noteworthy that roy d'Angolmois = king of Angolmois, is very similar to au chef Anglois = to the English chief. Perhaps Angolmois is Anglois moi = English me. 'The chief English in Nimes' is the word 'mine' or 'me'. Nostradamus (me) in English = Our Lady. Nimes is a port on the Mediterranean. There is a town of Salon very near Nimes, so if one journeyed too far past Salon they'd find Nimes. (N lived in Salon). Is he referring to himself? Or aid from Our Lady? Is it he who will return, as hinted by the events and astrology surrounding the opening of his grave in 1700? (he had foreseen this 145 years earlier and the skeleton had a medallion with 1700 engraved on it!). That is, thru his quatrains? See Nostra Domus in line 4 below. The Nimes reference must also figure in WWII.

Or is it an event / person via 'our lady from Angouleme.'? One Marguerite of Angouleme had a son who would become King Francois of France. His navigator, Verrazzano, explored the bay of New York in 1525 and named the site New Angouleme!! Where the French Statue of Liberty is, our lady from France. When N was a young man. So 'our lady from Angouleme' in two ways refers to America, NY and, liberty. (Sounds like the TV series Connections)

One possible decoding: 'to the English chief in Nimes too long a sojourn' becomes 'our help in England, too long a journey to our lady liberty in America'.

Line 2 - Dever l'Espagne au secours Aenobarbe
Toward Spain to help from Aenobarbe. Au sec-ours besides meaning 'help' also works as 'to the dry bear', ie, desert. The bear, Aquarius, is the 'water-bearer'. This is like saying an anti-Christ of the New Age. Jesus said that an unclean spirit cast out first wanders the waterless places. There is also a play on secouer = to give a jolt, jerk, rock. As we shall see, that's what happened. Barbe means 'beard' but is an anagram for Arabe (Arabia / Mid-East). Notice Aenobarbe starts with 'A' then says 'no B', leaving 'o en A-rabe'. En barbe in the last line repeats the letters found in Aenobarbe. The 'o' sounds like 'au' (in, to) and 'eau' (water) suggesting towards Spain, over the water, from within Arabia - help. Is that a future missile attack from an Arabic country, across the Mediterranean towards Europe hitting Spain? The British come to Spain's assistance, but are delayed at Nimes.

Aenobarbe exists in other quatrains, and has another meaning. Namely

'0 degrees in Arabia' = the Great Pyramid of Giza
which for thousands of years was the world standard before our Greenwich Mean Time. Plus, a monumental reference standard emBODYing weights and measures on and of Earth in the solar system. It typifies the phrase 'And the WORD was made Flesh', ie. physical, having weight and measure. (Jesus PERSON-ifies it). For the Word is universal law which governs length of day, size and position of planet, etc. Giza is at 31 degrees 8 min 8 sec east of GMT, just outside of Cairo, Egypt. According to the Cayce Readings this is where Jesus underwent final testing before attaining to the Christhood.

'Zero in Arabia' is significant for another reason. It was the Arabian mathematicians who introduced the sifr or cipher or numeral zero to mathematics. Today it seems unimaginable, but way back it was a leap to quantify that which does NOT exist. Here, much to do about nothing is very appropriate. From them we also have 'algorithm' (not a new dance step by the Vice-President) and 'algebra' and identification of the star Algol. As custodians of the Great Pyramid this is fitting.

Line 3 - Quand en Artois faillir estoille en barbe
Obviously no falling star will end up in someone's beard, so what is being said?

meaning 1.
En Artois is an anagram for 'trois' (three) in 'Ar'. Which is Tri-poli in Arabia - en barbe. That suggests that Libya is the Arab country launching missiles. And being hit in return - When in Tripoli, a star to fall in Arabia. Khadaffi or a successor? The Spanish theme seems to preclude the April 1986 bombing by Reagan. Unless
it is the very long sojourn from England by
American pilots toward Spain and over the
water to bomb Libya.

But the plot thickens. Artois is a place in north France near Belgium and Vimy, a focal point of terrible battles in two World Wars. Not far away in Leuven, Belgium (Flanders area) in 1366 a brewery called 'Den Hornen' or the Horn was established. One is reminded of the horns of Biblical prophecy here. In 1717 it was run by master-brewer Sebastian Artois, from whom it is named. In 1926 they formulated a barley beer called "Stella" (L. for star). It became world famous as Stella Artois. Another local brewery makes a beer called "Nostra Domus' (our home)! Please note that Artois estoille = Stella Artois!! Stella beer is today very popular, possibly served in the German bar hit by terrorists - so double meanings can apply. Here then is another translation of this line:
When Stella Artois falls in the beard.
Sloppy or not, that only happened after 1926, when WWII was starting. Does this refer to the famous Dunkirk battle? In other words:
When in Flanders falls our star on barbs.
Barbs as bayonets, attacks; and maybe a play on Klaus Barbie the Nazi butcher of Lyon. Our fallen star is the evacuation of the English and defeat of the Belgium army that dire day.

Line 4 - Plusieurs mourront par Mars ouvert ce jour
Meaning 1. In Libya, it is only a shadow event - some 30 people actually died that day, but over 200 were injured. This was in retaliation for the bombing of La Belle disco in Germany. However not trivial because other quatrains suggest the third anti-Christ will involve Libya and a son of Khadaffi bent on power and destruction. Mars ouvert = Mars open = 'ar' = R. Maybe Reagan. Then ou vert = where green = Irish ancestry of Reagan. So par Mars ouvert = by Reagan. The emerald Isle of IRE-land is a MARS-land of open hostility. And the IRA are said to have used Libya to source armaments. What color is 'greaan'?

Meaning 2. At Dunkirk, the losses were very great indeed. One of WWII's worst moments, and yet a miracle of the 'little boats that could' save 350,000 trapped soldiers from the beaches in the battle of Flanders May 10,1940. Still about 200,000 dead, 200,000 wounded and 1.5 million were captured. Truly "many died by open warfare that day". 'By open Mars' also relates to Ar-ra-s which is another town very near Artois, and the Vimy Memorial. And in Latin .. by open seas.

Meaning 3. Ou vert = where green. As noted before there is a recurring metaphor of 0 degrees GMT as crossing the boundary into the New Age. 'Where green' then also plays on the Greenwich Mean Time meridian. First in time, at the end of this Age of Pisces. And often in physical event locations, such as Angouleme, and previously Cairo (as Aenobarbe).

The 'great human tribulation' is likely WWII, so 'greater ones prepared' must refer to an even worse WWWIII. In the 1990s 'WWW' has taken on another meaning, and part of the battle will no doubt be in cyber-space, with information assets the target. DAN 12:4 says 'seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase' - a good description of the Web. The 'end of time' being the end of the Age of Pisces.

Le grand mouteur les siecles renouvelle
're-news the centuries' is likely year 2000, but the 'Big Motor' that causes it is the Precession of the Equinoxes (every 25,920 years), which renews both centuries and Ages. This reinforces quatrain 10:72, with the 0 GMT=New Age theme. Does 2000 occur first, then the plagues?

Pluie, sang, laict, famine, feu & peste :
WWWIII will include horrible new weapons. 'Milk' as a tribulation could be poisoning of pasture lands by fallout; or weapons that create a milky 'rain'. A whitish haze over cities has recently been attributed to methane formation.

Au ciel veu feu, courant longue estincele
The 'fire in the sky with a long running trail' is either a comet / asteroid, or satellite such as Cassini. Or, if warfare, we are now familiar with rockets.

The Bible: Revelation

Consider Revelation, intended for the end time:
 

Rev 6:5 (3rd seal) ...And I looked and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 

Rev 6:6 And I heard as it were a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying: 'a quart of wheat for a day's wage; three quarts of barley for a day's wage; and do not harm the oil and the wine'.
The black horse is said to represent famine, and the ensuing high prices for food, when a day's wage will only buy a quart of wheat. See Rev 4:7 below for more on the four living creatures.
Rev. 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 

Rev. 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. 

Rev. 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 

Rev. 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. 

Rev. 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
Rev 8:8 speaks of 'as it were a great mountain' which fits better with a comet / asteroid, than a satellite. But Earth is also visited by a regular meteor shower at this time (Perseids). Could a larger body be pulled into Earth's atmosphere? A new comet?

Rev 8:10 could fit the description of the Cassini satellite, or 'star'. And we do know that 'wormwood' in Russian is translated as 'Chernobyl' giving an association with radiation/ plutonium.

Rev 11:11 And after three and a half days the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were beholding them ..... and they went up into Heaven in the cloud, and their enemies beheld them.

No set of quotations would be complete without Rev 11:11. The great fear spoken of here suggests that 'the great King of Terror' in 10:72 depends on your point of view. The 3 1/2 days refers to a period of 1260 years in which true Christians were persecuted, but now go to their rest, first those who were asleep in Christ. This is a message of hope in the eclipse, for some. 1260 / 30 = 42 months = 3.5 years. A day for a year. This is also the famous time (1), times (2) and half a time of DAN 7:25. Note that below, we see the eclipse takes 3 hours 5 minutes.

The Grand Cross eclipse - an astronomical event

The Grand Cross peaks on August 18th with the aspect lasting from Aug 16 10:40 EST to Aug 18 21:21, a period of 2 days 10 hours 41minutes = 58 hours 41 minutes. But just prior there is a momentous eclipse on 11th August, 1999 which culminates near 11:11 UT (Universal Time) with Sun and Moon at 18 degrees Leo. The emphasis on 'elevens' is very much a signature for the Age of Aquarius, for Aquarius is the 11th sign of the zodiac. And its ruler Uranus is in Aquarius. In 1999 on Feb 11, with the Sun in Aquarius, Pluto crossed to an orbit outside of Neptune's for the next 228 years; since 1979 it has been inside. Neptune, the Christ-consciousness, is then revealed and transformed for the New Age.

The eclipse begins at 9:30 UT or GMT off the coast of Nova Scotia and makes first landfall at 10:11 UT (11:11 BST) at Lyonesse - Scilly Isles, then Cornwall England, then travels around the globe to end in the Indian Ocean at 12:35 UT. The eclipse sweeps across 200 degrees of the planet from 65W to 86E, leaving 160 degrees untouched and takes 3 hours 5 minutes. The culmination occurs over Romania / the Black Sea and lasts 2 minutes 23 seconds. The Americas are largely spared, along with much of the Pacific. The eclipse positions are: (see chart)

From the viewpoint of Earth the above positions form a + or Grand Cross, involving the four fixed signs, at 90 degree angles to each other. In astrology, Leo is a lion; Taurus is a bull or calf; and Aquarius is a man; Scorpio is an eagle. Compare the above cross to this Bible reference:

Rev 4:7 And the first creature was like a lion, and the second creature was like a calf, and the third creature had a face like that of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle. 
It is interesting that the first creature is like a lion, and the eclipse first makes landfall at Lyonesse. The Sphinx in Egypt is a composite of the above four animals, and has a face like that of man. It is also known in Arab literature as the Father of Terror, much the same term used by Nostradamus. The prophet Edgar Cayce said the Sphinx and Pyramids will be sealed until the end of the Piscean Age, and then will their hidden chambers yield up new secrets and knowledge.

Some have commented on how the four beasts of Revelation = the Four Horsemen. There is even a political group in Turkey called Horsemen, certainly one of the tinder boxes in the mid-East.

Swiss Air crash co-incidences
Curiously, the Swiss Air tragedy also occurred just 7 nautical or 8 miles off the coast of Nova Scotia not far from Peggy's Cove. The Swiss flag carries the Cross! The eclipse culminates Aug 11 at 11:11 UT - the Swiss flight was flight 111. The MD-11 McDonnell Douglas stretch jet is a grand plane in French. There were 229 persons on board. 2+9 = 11. So 229 becomes two of 2+9 or 11:11. 

  On Feb 11, 1999 Pluto crossed over to an orbit outside of Neptune for the next 228 years (229 passengers). The plane was initially instructed to use level two-niner (29). Flight 111 and was attempting to navigate to runway 6... (6 x 111 = 666). The 7 nautical miles versus 8 miles recalls the ambiguity over how to interpret the use of 'sept' (July vs August) by Nostradamus.

A company called Victorinox, who made the original Swiss army knife, also makes a 111 mm Swiss Air knife! 'Nox' (L. for night), as in equinox, reminds us of crossing a celestial boundary, here into the New Age where there is victory over death. Switzerland is a Virgo (the Virgin) nation. A nearby Virgin Air flight announced: 'Moncton, Virgin 12 will be standing by', which conjures up other Biblical associations. Two other planes nearby were BAW Speedbirds - an apt description of the eclipse's journey. BAW = lambs of God = angels (winged on another plane) arrive soon (speedbird). The plane received its last one-day check-up on Aug 10, 1998; Aug 10, 1999 is the last day before the eclipse.

The pilot was Urs Zimmermann. Urs is 'bear' - one of the astrological symbols for Aquarius along with 'man'. (zimmer is 'room'). An investigator from the Canadian Transportation Safety Board is called Roy Bears! Both these words have already been discussed above. There were no survivors; the eclipse is total. This too was 'terror in the sky' in 'Sept' month.

The Swiss Ambassador to Canada died recently in the village of Sion Switzerland. Prince Bander, a passenger considered as the real target due to his wealth and extensive CIA and nefarious connections, belonged to the Order of Sion. Grand Roy d'Angolmois = Great King SION of Golam. Sion as Zion. The Order of Sion was founded in the 1090s by Godfroide Bouillon, one of the leaders of the First Crusade who had recaptured Jerusalem. The Order was forced to become secretive and flee; accounts and the Zeno map indicate a presence off the coast of Nova Scotia - before Columbus! With rumours of connections to the Holy Grail.

Then on July 17, 1999 about 9:38 PM we have the sudden and unexpected demise of JFK Jr in another plane crash - also into Atlantic waters 7.5 miles offshore. Here, 'sept' is July. With time-space links to anniversaries of The Moon Landing (July 20, 1969) and the TWA crash! One month before the Grand Cross. And the Moon flight was none other than Apollo 11! Also on July 20, 1999 the Liberty Bell 7 of Virgil 'Gus' Grissom's flight was brought up from the ocean, about 3.5 miles down. The Bessette sisters were from Greenwich CT, linking to a GMT (new Age) theme. Even the anniversary (July 18) of Ted Kennedy's plunge by car into the bay. A theme seems to be "rising above, falling under, and vice versa" - shades of Atlantis in the Atlantic. Splash-downs and raised again. As in Resurrection. All possible harbingers, with (the requisite) very international coverage.

While discussing the number '11', this might be a good place to remind us that Remembrance Day honors the end of WWII. That day first occurred the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Nov 11.

The effects of a major rare planetary alignment on the Solar wind, meteors and gravitational pulls on Earth's mantle may hold surprises. Some prophecies foretell of slippage of the mantle over the core and a resultant shifting of the poles, tidal waves over-running continents, huge earthquakes, violent wind storms, and enormous loss of life.

Luke 21:11 accords well with Nostrdamus' quatrain 10:72:

Luke 21:25 And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN A CLOUD with power and great glory.  

Luke 21:36 But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the SON OF MAN.
